Overview
Becomy connects your store to multiple AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Kling) behind a single interface. Everything is billed in one currency — credits — so you never need an account with any provider:
- Copilots: the theme, commerce, marketing, campaign and strategy assistants answer in chat and act on your store through safe tools. On a product page, ask to restyle all gallery photos in one sentence — confirm, watch live progress, then open the linked Creative studio session.
- Campaign canvas: from Studio home or the campaign editor, the campaign copilot builds a dated marketing package — timeline, products, AI visuals, copy, email and social posts.
- Creative studio — images: generate product packshots, lifestyle scenes and banners, iterate on variants in a prompt→result timeline, and save the keepers to your media library. Sessions can be scoped to a product, campaign or collection.
- Creative studio — video: turn a product image into a short promo clip ready for social networks.
- Social publishing: post or schedule your creations to Instagram and TikTok; scheduled posts appear in your Planning calendar.
Credits & packs
Credits are the single unit for all AI usage. As a rule of thumb, 1 credit ≈ 1,000 tokens on the reference chat model; each image model has a per-image rate and video is rated per second (rates are shown in the AI models page before you launch anything). Credits never expire.

After every AI response or generation, the exact cost is shown and deducted from your balance. The credit badge next to the copilot always shows your current balance.
Every movement (purchase, usage, refund) is recorded in an append-only ledger you can review in Studio → Billing → AI credits. Balances are reconciled daily against the ledger.
1-click top-up & auto top-up
If your balance runs out mid-conversation or mid-generation, you are not interrupted: a top-up dialog opens in place. With a saved card, one click buys a pack and your request resumes automatically. Without a saved card, you are taken through a regular Stripe checkout.
You can also enable auto top-up: pick a pack, a balance threshold and a monthly cap, and Becomy refills your wallet automatically — capped, and notified by email every time.
Models & Auto mode
Each copilot and each generation can run on the model of your choice:
- Auto mode (default): Becomy picks the best model for the task — you don't have to think about it.
- Manual: pick a specific model in the selector (e.g. a faster/cheaper one for drafts, a premium one for final output).
The AI models page (Studio → Settings → Advanced → AI models) lists every available model with its provider, capabilities and credit rate.
Use your own API keys (BYOK)
Bring your own key: if you already have an API key with OpenAI, Anthropic or Google, add it in Studio → Integrations. Usage through your own key is not billed in credits — you pay the provider directly.
Creative studio — images
The Creative studio (Studio → Marketing → Creative studio) is an iterative workspace with a single prompt composer — the global copilot drawer is hidden there so you are not asked twice. Open it from the sessions list, from any product/campaign/collection page ("AI images" button), or from a copilot restyle link:
- Start a session and describe what you want — or pick a prompt recipe (packshot on white, lifestyle scene, seasonal banner…). Copilot restyle batches pre-fill the prompt (read-only while the batch runs).
- Generate or review: each attempt appears in the timeline (source photo → result for restyle batches). Follow-up refinements use the same composer.
- Select the variants you keep: they are saved to your product gallery or media library.
- Purge unselected attempts in one click to free storage. Past sessions stay listed on the product, campaign or collection they belong to.
Prompt recipes are curated, localized templates tuned for e-commerce output. They fill the prompt for you with your product's context — you can edit the text before generating.
From a product page copilot, describe the new look for all photos (e.g. "blonde model, keep the dress"). After you confirm, progress updates live in the chat; when done, open the Creative studio session to review each photo or publish to social.
Creative studio show and index hide the marketing copilot on purpose — use "View copilot conversation" to jump back to the product chat where the restyle started.
Promo video clips
The video tab turns a still image (a product photo or a generated image) into a short animated promo clip. Pick a duration and an animation style, preview the result and keep the takes you like.
Video is billed per second of output. The exact cost is reserved when the job starts; if the provider fails to deliver, the reservation is fully refunded automatically.
Marketing campaigns
Campaigns orchestrate a full marketing package on the Campaign Desk (peak moments + Social/Video into Creative). The campaign copilot consumes credits like any agent turn; populate and Creative generations debit on success (video reserved upfront). See the dedicated guide for launch, integrations and storage.
Media storage
AI-generated media live in your store's storage space, next to your other files. Plans are monthly and switchable anytime:

The Storage page (Studio → Settings → Advanced → Storage) shows live usage, your biggest files, and bulk cleanup tools (including one-click purge of unselected studio variants). When you approach the limit you are warned; you can also opt in to automatic tier upgrade instead of being blocked.
AI agents & MCP server
Your store also exposes an MCP server, so external AI agents (Cursor, Claude, or any MCP-compatible client) can manage your theme, products, marketing automations, campaigns and planning with your authorization.
Agent conversations through Becomy copilots consume credits like any chat. MCP tool calls from your own external client use that client's model — Becomy credits are only consumed when Becomy runs the model.
FAQ
Am I charged when a generation fails?
No. Images are only charged on success. Video reserves the credits upfront and refunds them in full automatically if the provider fails.
Do credits expire?
No. Purchased and offered credits stay on your wallet for the life of your store.
What happens if I dispute a payment?
Refunded or disputed payments claw back the corresponding credits from your wallet (your balance never goes negative — the remainder is clamped). The ledger keeps a trace of every adjustment.
Is my API key safe if I use BYOK?
Keys are encrypted at rest, never displayed back in full, and used exclusively to serve your store's requests. You can revoke them anytime from Studio → Integrations.

Tokens are monitored: if a connection is about to expire before a scheduled post, you are warned in advance so the post never silently fails.
