Marketing Campaigns
Plan a dated drop on the Campaign Desk — peak moments, Social/Video into Creative (keeps stay on the card), UGC flood pack, then Validate & schedule. Copilot still helps when you want chat.
Overview
Marketing campaigns are dated drops on a Campaign Desk: products, Social/Video into Creative Studio, email/SMS, audience, storefront banner and ad budget — with peak moments that also appear in Planning.
Start from the Copilot
- Complete My Brief (including brand tone) so the campaign agent knows your voice.
- Open Marketing → Campaigns, create or open a campaign desk — or ask Copilot to draft one.
- Drop a product, then click “UGC flood + Meta ads” — or ask Copilot: “Prepare a Father's Day campaign with -15% on men's gifts.”
- Edit Social/Video in modals → Open Creative (duration 5/10/15 s travels with the session). Keeps land on the desk card. Peak moments sync to Planning.
Campaign Desk
The desk has Organic / Paid / Storefront zones, a peak-moments strip, and modals for each artefact (not a right-panel inspector). Save with Ctrl+S. Social/Video open Creative Studio with campaign context.
Card types
- brief — Occasion, discount, tone and markets — seeded from your prompt and MerchantMemory.
- timeline — Peak moments (Tease, Flood, Ads scale…) — editable; shown in Planning and Home Tonight when creatives are still missing.
- products — Product IDs and optional collection — bestsellers matched to the occasion.
- visuals — AI image generation — status pending / generating / ready / failed.
- video — Kling promo clip — reserves credits upfront.
- copy — Instagram, TikTok, Facebook captions plus email headline and CTA.
- email — Subject and Liquid body — creates a draft marketing scenario on launch.
- social — Per-platform scheduled posts — requires connected Instagram/TikTok publishing.
- theme — Draft color scheme applied to theme settings_data.json on launch.
- ad_budget — Heuristic Meta/TikTok split — recommendation only (no Ads API v1).
Peak moments
Peak moments (Tease, Flood, Ads scale…) — editable; shown in Planning and Home Tonight when creatives are still missing.
Validate & schedule
Click Validate & schedule for a recap modal: products, copy, social, email, theme, estimated credits and integration alerts. Confirm to create the collection, schedule social posts (when media is ready), email scenario and calendar milestones.
KPIs & attribution
After launch, each campaign shows a KPI strip on the editor and sortable columns on the campaigns list. Metrics refresh after launch, on demand, and nightly for recent live campaigns.
- Attributed revenue and orders: orders in the attribution window that include at least one product from the campaign collection.
- Email sent / open / click rates come from the linked marketing scenario.
- Social block counts published and failed posts linked at launch (no impression metrics in v1).
- AI credits spent aggregates copilot chats on the campaign desk plus image/video generation debits.
Default 7 days after the campaign end date. Adjust in the brief card or KPI strip (1–90 days). Collection page views drive conversion rate when tracking is available.
Not in v1 (by design)
- Ad ROAS — the ad budget card is a heuristic only; no Ads API connection yet.
- Social impressions and engagement — requires Instagram/TikTok analytics APIs.
- Automatic UTM on email/collection links — planned for reliable visit attribution.
- Multi-campaign comparison dashboard — use the campaigns list sort columns for now.
Integrations
Email delivery (SendGrid, Mailgun…), Instagram via meta_publishing OAuth, TikTok via tiktok_publishing. Tracking pixels (GA4, Meta Pixel) are separate from social publishing.
My Brief — brand identity
Section Brand identity in My Brief: tone, voice and visual style feed MerchantMemory and campaign copy.
AI credits & storage
Copilot turns consume AI credits. Images debit on success; videos reserve credits upfront. All generated media counts toward storage quota.
Campaigns vs Automations
Automations are triggered customer journeys (signup, cart abandoned…). Campaigns are one-shot dated marketing packages on the Campaign Desk.
Full example — Father's Day
Father's Day 2026 (June 21): Copilot prompt or UGC flood pack → desk artefacts, peak moments, men's product picks, IG + TikTok, email draft, theme navy/gold, budget hint.
FAQ
Why did populate fail with insufficient credits?
The wallet needs balance for orchestration chat and async image/video jobs. Top up in Studio → Billing → AI credits.
Why are social cards pending_media after launch?
Posts need a completed image or video generation attached. Open Social/Video → Creative, keep an output onto the card, or regenerate from the desk Copilot.
I connected Meta Pixel but Instagram posts fail?
Pixel tracking ≠ Instagram publishing. Connect Social publishing under Integrations.
What is ROAS (AI credits)?
It is attributed revenue divided by AI credits spent on the campaign (copilot + generations). It is not ad ROAS — the ad budget card is a heuristic recommendation only until Ads API integration.
