Planning
One calendar for all your store operations — what launches, what ends, what to prepare, and when.
Overview
Planning (Studio → Planning) gathers every dated event of your store on a single monthly calendar. Instead of checking campaigns, coupons and your launch checklist in separate screens, you see the whole month at a glance and can act from there: every event links to the page where it is managed.
What appears in the calendar
The calendar aggregates the following sources automatically, each with its own color:
- Milestones and goals from your Plan & goals page, on their due date.
- Tasks from your setup plan that have a deadline.
- Campaign Desk peak moments (Tease, Flood, Ads scale…) and flight dates, plus automation launches scheduled for a future activation. Each event opens the campaign desk.
- Coupon start and end dates.
- Gift card expirations.
- Products and collections scheduled to go live (see Scheduled publication below).
- Your own free-form events — photo shoot, stock arrival, ad campaign on another channel…
- Real-world events: public holidays, school holidays, retail peaks (sales, Black Friday, Christmas…), major sport competitions and fashion weeks, filtered by your market.
Use the checkboxes above the grid to show or hide each event family. Clicking an event opens the page where it is managed (campaign desk, coupon list, automation editor, product editor…).
Add events from the calendar
You can add items to the calendar without leaving it:
- Click any day in the grid.
- Choose what to create: a custom event (free text, just for your planning) or a milestone (tracked in Plan & goals).
- Give it a title and confirm — it appears immediately. Custom events can be deleted with the × on the event itself.
Goals & milestones
Goals are created from Plan & goals → Goals tab: pick a title, a metric (orders, revenue, catalog size or custom), a target value and a target date. Goals with a measurable metric show a live progress bar.
Milestones are key dates of your project (launch, campaign kickoff, collection drop). Add them from the Goals tab of Plan & goals or directly from the calendar quick-create. They appear in the calendar on their due date.
Retail moments & recipes
When a major retail moment is coming up in the next 60 days (sales, Black Friday, Christmas, Mother's Day…), Planning shows a “Coming up — get ready” banner. Each event comes with a recipe — a ready-made preparation checklist:
- Click Prepare on the event.
- Becomy creates the preparation tasks with deadlines (create the coupon, schedule the email campaign, prepare a collection, update the homepage banner…) plus a milestone on the event date.
- The tasks appear in your calendar and your plan, each linking to the right page to do the work.
Scheduled publication
Products: in the Studio product editor, an offline product shows a “publish automatically on” date field next to the Publish button. Set a date and save — the product goes live automatically at that time, and the planned publication appears in the calendar.
Collections: the collection form has a “Scheduled publication” date. At that date, all products of the collection that are not yet online are published automatically — handy for drops and seasonal collections.
Real-world events
Becomy ships a curated dataset of real-world dates for 2026–2027: French public holidays, school holidays, winter and summer sales, Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's and Father's Day, back-to-school, the FIFA World Cup, the Tour de France and the main fashion weeks. Events are filtered by the market you declared in your brief — a US-market store won't see French public holidays.
FAQ
Where did the Campaign calendar go?
It was merged into Planning. The old address redirects to the new page, and campaigns now appear alongside everything else.
Why was a task checked without me touching it?
Tasks created by recipes (and most plan tasks) carry a completion rule. When the matching object exists in your store — a coupon, a gift card, a scheduled campaign — the task is marked done automatically.
Can I remove events from the calendar?
Custom events: yes, with the × on the event. Milestones and goals: from the Goals tab of Plan & goals. Business events (coupons, campaigns, publications) disappear when you change the underlying object. External events can be hidden with the filters.
