Dress the storefront tonight

Studio → Collections groups products into aisles. The rail shows tonight’s merchandising move first. Nothing mutates Featured, a hero, or a banner until you confirm.

The merchandising hub

Collections group products. They are flat — there is no collection-group type. A published empty collection is the emergency: shoppers can open the page and find nothing. An unpublished empty collection is a draft. Off-menu is not an alert: shoppers can still arrive from a link, a campaign, or search.

Tonight: Do not hunt New collection first. That stays a quiet secondary action. Chat can finish the same job: “Organize the catalog” / “Prepare a 20% sale”.

Tonight’s rail

Read the gesture rail — tonight’s card first. Extra eligible cards sit beside it. “The storefront holds” stays one card: trust it. Confirm. Then Featured fills, other collections land, the header menu can merge, sale prices snapshot so you can undo.

The merchandising acts

The hub picks one of these merchandising acts. It is not the seventeen SKU gestures.

Aisles, theme hero, menus

Three desks, three jobs:

Menus and the theme hero live on Appearance.Hanging a SKU in an aisle is also a product gesture (not in a collection)..

One collection hero

A badge on a tile can mark an aisle that needs a hero tonight. It still opens the collection sheet, where the hero editor sits. That is not the homepage dress.

What you skip tonight

Nothing hangs until you apply. Do not treat an off-menu collection as broken. Sale prices use compare-at (strikethrough); coupons stay optional.
